Zen Diva Skincare was founded by Allyson Crawford in February 2021 to promote self-care and mental wellness through skincare. A survivor of domestic violence, Ms. Crawford lived in a safe house, surrounded by women who had lost everything. This experience inspired her to help others in need. After relocating from Georgia to Maryland in 2010, she worked in the healthcare field and volunteered as a court advocate for abused children, as well as providing food and essentials to the homeless. With over 30 years in the beauty industry, including roles at high-end salons, Crawford created Zen Diva Skincare to build self-esteem through skincare routines. She continues to volunteer, visit shelters, and donate products, aiming to spread positivity one person at a time.
